xanga photos videos blogrings metros profiles   Tuesday, June 08, 2004 Today is very busy. Firstly, this morning, I need to refuse an offer to tutor economics for a F.6 girl. Yes, a F.6 girl. the reasons why I reject the offer are as follows: a) the salary is too low, only $80 per hour. In fact, this salary can only attract me to teach primary students, but not a F.6 one. The girl's mother told me that she gave me such a low salary because I have no experience. But I still think that te salary is too low, she should at least give me $100 per hour ma! b) The girl's mother told me that each lesson lasts for 2 hours, but there is a 15 minutes break in between, and they would not give money for that 15 mins, then what can I do in these 15 mins, does it mean that I have to sit with them and chat with each other? c)Last but not least, I think this job is toooooooooooooooooooo challenging! Why? Because the mother kept saying that her daughter is not good at thinking, and she said that it would better not to say too many theroies for her daughter, and she expects me to give her daughter many exercises to do. However, Economics is in fact a subject of theories, how can I teach her econ. if I can't teach her theories?
